Staff

 

Mark Shirey has been leading the choir at CCPR for several years now and is a well loved addition to our staff.  In addition to the choir, he leads our POWER Puppet Team and helps in various jobs within CCPR.

 

Mark leads the choir in Sunday anthems and in preparing Easter and Christmas Cantata's.  Our cantatas are shared in several different venues throughout the Pittsburgh area including the Pittsburgh Mills Galleria, Vandergrift High Rise Building, and West Haven Nursing Home to mention a few.

 

Mark is married to Cheryl Shirey, has a son, Matthew, and a dog named Shelby.  Come join the choir and praise the Lord in song.  Having Mark on staff is a great blessing.

 

 

 

 

Ann was born and raised in the Apollo area and has lived here all her life. She is married to Frank E. Crawford and they are parents to three sons, one of whom is deceased (2003). They have seven granddaughters and seven great grandchildren. She is retired from the tax and legal departments of Allegheny International, Inc.

 

She has been involved in church music for many years, having served as organist for both the Apollo and Vandergrift Methodist churches before coming to CCPR.

 

Ann believes that music is “A Celebration of the Soul” and an international language that everyone can understand, she strives to use a mixture of comforting music in times of sorrow, as well as uplifting music in times of great joy. She mixes classical, modern and traditional pieces in an effort to reach all peoples.

 

We are fortunate to have Ann as our pianist and enjoy her talents every Sunday.
